Pan-Fried Sage and Butter Gnocchi


Sunny and luna cauliflower gnocchi in sage and brown butter sauce

Ingredienti

Serves 2


2 tbsp olive oil

1 pack Sunny & Luna Cauliflower Gnocchi

Salt and pepper

50g unsalted butter

Big bunch of fresh sage leaves

2 cloves garlic

Juice from 1/2 a lemon

Grated Parmesan

  • To make it vegan use planted-based parmesan and butter alternatives

Preparazione

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat.

  2. Add the gnocchi and fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brow.

  3. Remove the gnocchi and place them on a seperate plate.

  4. Melt the butter in the frying pan until nutty and lightly browned.

  5. Once melted, add sage leaves and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Add the gnocchi back to the frying pan, sprinkling on salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Stir together and cook for another minute to warm the gnocchi through.

  8. Add the lemon juice and grated parmesan and stir together.

  9. Serve in 2 bowls, serving with extra parmesan, salt and pepper to taste.
